Terms of Service

The foundation of our partnership

Last Updated: 18-01-2026 · Effective Date: 18-01-2026

Welcome to ExploitFrontier ("ExploitFrontier," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website exploitfrontier.com, related pages/features, and any services we provide (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Services Overview

ExploitFrontier provides cybersecurity services that may include:

  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, networks, APIs, and AI/LLM systems
  • Security reviews, reporting, remediation guidance, and retesting (as agreed)
  • Research & Insights content including security analysis, techniques, and threat intelligence commentary

Important: We do not guarantee that our Services will identify every vulnerability or prevent all future attacks. Security is risk-based and continuously evolving.

3. No Illegal Use / Authorization Required

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful activity.

If you request or engage us for security testing:

  • You must have explicit written authorization to test the systems in scope (your own systems or systems you are legally authorized to test).
  • You must provide accurate scope details (domains, IPs, applications, endpoints, environments).
  • You agree that we may refuse or stop work if authorization is unclear, incomplete, or disputed.

We do not provide services for unauthorized hacking or abuse.

4. Engagement Terms, Scope, and Deliverables

For client work, the specific scope and deliverables are defined in a written agreement, proposal, statement of work, email confirmation, or rules of engagement ("Engagement Terms").

Typical deliverables may include:

  • A findings report (executive summary + technical details)
  • Evidence and reproduction steps (where appropriate)
  • Prioritized remediation guidance
  • Retest results (if included)

If there is any conflict between these Terms and Engagement Terms, the Engagement Terms control for that engagement.

5. Client Responsibilities

If you are a client, you agree to:

  • Provide correct technical contact points and access details needed for testing
  • Provide safe test accounts, sandbox environments, and non-production data where feasible
  • Maintain backups and change controls during testing windows
  • Inform us of fragile systems, uptime constraints, rate limits, or prohibited test types (e.g., DoS)
  • Promptly review and respond to clarification questions required to complete an assessment

Delays or incomplete information may impact timelines and results.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access or probe systems without authorization
  • Upload or transmit malware, destructive payloads, or illegal content through our Services
  • Interfere with website availability (e.g., DDoS, scraping that degrades performance)
  • Reverse engineer or exploit our website or infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authorization to test systems
  • Use our name/brand to imply endorsement without permission

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Accounts, Access, and Security

If any part of our Services requires an account:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
  • You agree to provide accurate information
  • We may disable accounts that pose security risk or violate these Terms

8. Research & Insights Content

Our Research & Insights section may include educational content, security analysis, and commentary. It is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

We may remove or modify content at any time, including content submitted by users, for quality, safety, accuracy, legal, or policy reasons.

If you submit content:

  • You represent you have the rights to submit it
  • You agree it does not contain unlawful, confidential, or sensitive personal data without permission
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and adapt the content for our platform and promotion

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, UI/UX, text, graphics, and materials provided by ExploitFrontier are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

Client deliverables:

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients may use reports internally for security improvement and compliance purposes.
  • Public sharing of reports or findings must be approved in writing (to avoid exposure of sensitive details).

10. Confidentiality

During an engagement, we may receive confidential business, technical, and security information. We will treat such information as confidential and use it only for delivering Services, except where:

  • disclosure is required by law, legal process, or regulator request, or
  • the information is publicly available through no fault of ours.

Clients must also treat vulnerability details as sensitive and follow responsible handling practices.

11. Pricing, Payment, and Taxes

Pricing and payment terms (including milestones, retests, or add-ons) are agreed as part of Engagement Terms. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Invoices are due as per the agreed timeline
  • Late payments may pause work
  • Taxes, if applicable, are the client's responsibility as required by law

If the site shows "Contact for pricing," it indicates scope-based pricing.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL VULNERABILITIES WILL BE FOUND.

Security testing reduces risk; it does not eliminate it.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ExploitFrontier will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business interruption.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount paid by you to ExploitFrontier for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim (or INR 10,000 if no fees were paid), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ExploitFrontier harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of the Services
  • your lack of authorization to test systems
  • your violation of these Terms or applicable law
  • content you submit that infringes rights or breaks laws

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • you provide false authorization or misuse the Services
  • continuing creates legal or security risk

You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not affect rights/obligations that should survive, including IP, confidentiality, disclaimers, and liability limits.

16. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Chandigarh, India will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
